Luke Hartsuyker, Assistant Minister for Employment, made a welcome visit to the Ability Options/Olympus Solutions new employment site in Gosford on Thursday July 2nd. The visit from Assistant Minister Hartsuyker took place the day after the launch of the Australian Government’s new jobactive employment initiative, which rolled out nationally on July 1.
As a member of Olympus Solutions, Ability Options are operating nine jobactive sites, five in Northern Sydney at Brookvale, Ryde, Hornsby, Baulkham Hills and Chatswood and four sites on the Central Coast at Gosford, The Entrance, Bateau Bay and Wyong. Disability Employment Services will continue to be offered at both Baulkham Hills and Hornsby.
A fresh new service delivery model, Energise, has been implemented at all sites. The Energise Model provides access to job vacancies and seamlessly supports job seekers’ goals as well as meeting employers’ demands for motivated and job ready candidates.
“We have taken an innovative approach to the provision of employment services, combining our partnerships with Career One and Adzuna, and rolling out our ‘Energise’ model. We’ve moved away from the traditional case management model, to more proactive and engaged job seeking that matches the right people to the right job.” said Executive Leader Ability Options Employment, Brenda Odewhan.
“Following extensive research it’s clear that employers want recruitment to be simple, but responsive and tailored to their needs. The fact that these services are at no cost to the employer is an added plus. “Ability Options continue to work with closely with employers, matching skills to requirements. We even guarantee post placement support to both the job seeker and the employer”, commented Brenda.
“Getting the results that the community wants, employers need and jobseekers expect is our purpose and we are proud of our results” concluded Managing Director, Olympus Solutions, Nic Bolto.
