‘Job Starter’: New Employee Stimulus
This offer will allow employers the option to receive monthly Wage Subsidy Instalments for new employees, to support recruitment with positive, regular cash flow at this time, as well as assisting in offsetting the cost of on-boarding new staff.

Provides support to eligible employees who have difficulty fulfilling the essential requirements of their role due to injury, mental health condition or disability. Wage subsidies are a financial incentive to support employers to hire eligible participants in ongoing jobs by contributing to the initial costs of hiring a new employee. Wage subsidies give employers greater flexibility in their hiring options. Ask us more about our bespoke wage subsidy schemes.
Apprenticeship and Trainee Support
The Australian Government has announced the Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements wage subsidy to support employers and Group Training Organisations to take on new apprentices and trainees. Eligible employers and Group Training Organisations will receive a wage subsidy of up to 50 per cent of the Australian Apprentice’s or trainee’s gross wage paid. The wage subsidy is available for a maximum of $7,000 per quarter per eligible Australian Apprentice. Click here for more info.
Job Maker Hiring Credit
From 7 October 2020, eligible employers will be able to claim $200 a week for each additional eligible employee they hire aged 16 to 29 years old; and $100 a week for each additional eligible employee aged 30 to 35 years old. New jobs created until 6 October 2021 will attract the JobMaker Hiring Credit for up to 12 months from the date the new position is created. Click here for more info.
